TILTRUNE

Turn the room. Everything falls.

Deep inside the mountain, a forgotten treasure vault waits behind more than 80 rooms. You cannot jump or climb, but you can rotate the whole room by 90 degrees.

Crates tumble, gems drop, and so do you. Collect every gem, open the glowing green exit and find a safe route through the spikes. A wrong turn is a lesson: undo, rethink and try again.

TILTRUNE brings our Commodore 64 room-tilting puzzle adventure to Amiga with reworked pixel art, animated title and reward screens, and Amiga music and sound effects. The original rooms, rules and controls remain at its heart.

Your next adventure

More than 80 rooms

Descend through five vaults to the Treasure Chamber, then take on twelve bonus challenges.

Turn gravity into a tool

Tilt the room by 90 degrees. Plan where the explorer, crates and gems will land before you turn.

Rethink your route

Undo up to 100 current-room states, restart a puzzle and try again. Retries are unlimited.

Aim for three stars

Beat each room’s par, collect stars and build your final score. Best results and the HIGH SCORE are saved to disk.

Reworked for Amiga

Detailed pixel art, animated title and reward screens, music and sound effects made for the machine.

Try ten rooms for free

The separate free demo contains the first ten rooms. Full-only rooms, bonus challenges and exclusive content are physically excluded.

See it in motion

Actual Amiga frames saved by WinUAE. Play a clip to see the animated title screen or take a closer look at the gameplay.

Before you play

Amiga requirements & controls

Requires 1 MB RAM: an Amiga 500 with 512 KB Chip RAM and a 512 KB expansion, or an Amiga 1200 with 2 MB Chip RAM.

PAL is recommended for the complete picture. An NTSC Amiga 1200 switches to PAL during play and restores NTSC on exit. Original OCS NTSC machines cannot switch and crop the bottom of the game view.

Use a joystick in port 2, or W/A/S/D with SPACE or RETURN for Fire. Fire + left/right rotates the room; U undoes a move; hold R to restart. ESC or Q during play asks to return to the title.

Checked in WinUAE with Amiga 500 and Amiga 1200 configurations, including NTSC, and played by the developer on THEA500 Mini. Testing on original Amiga hardware is still pending.

Floppy and ADF startup takes time to load the game; wait for the title screen. On a modern computer, use a compatible Amiga emulator and your own compatible system ROM. No emulator, system ROM or Amiga system files are supplied.

Progress & saving

The full game saves best room results, opened-room progress and the HIGH SCORE beside the game. Use writable storage or a writable play copy of the ADF, and wait for SAVING RECORDS... to finish before removing the disk or switching off. The current puzzle position and undo history are not saved. The free demo does not write to its disk.

Download formats

The full package includes one bootable ADF disk image, an AmigaOS program for a prepared hard-disk layout, an illustrated English PDF manual, a plain-text manual, a quick reference, cover and optional frontend artwork, printable 3.5-inch disk labels, README, license and Terms of Use. The separate ten-room demo has its own ADF and guide.

Development status

Version 1.0 is out now. The full game and free ten-room demo are available on the official itch.io page.
